The Pampered Pup offers a professional dog grooming service where our priority is your furry friend. We do everything possible to ensure your dog has a comfortable stay with us.
Most dogs have a maximum stay of 2 hours depending on the breed and cut of your dog. Our appointments are specific to the breed of your dog.
We use top quality shampoos, conditioners and perfumes and we also have sensitive products available for the sensitive skinned pet.
If your dog has a skin complaint and uses medicated or special products then please feel free to bring these along with you to your appointment.
Severely matted coats may require a short close clip in which the owner will be informed beforehand and will be asked to sign a consent form. Please do not feel embarrassed about bringing your dog to us in a matted condition.
If your dog is nervous or if you have travelled far, or you would just like to watch your dog being groomed then please feel free to stay.
During your dogs stay they will NOT be kept in cages and will have access to drinking water.
We provide a pick up and drop off service on Saturday's only
from 9am to 1:30pm.
Cross breeds, vaccinated puppies and nervous dogs welcome.
The elderly dog: If your elderly dog has never been groomed before then we may not offer a full groom as this can be very stressful for your dog, instead we may be able to offer a tidy up and nail clipping to maintain your dogs comfort in their wiser years. Please feel free to contact us to discuss options for your dog.
Aggressive dogs: If you feel your dog may be, or may become aggressive, please do not hesitate to contact us to discuss options. Some aggressive dogs can be groomed comfortably and calmly with the use of a soft muzzle. If your dog becomes stressed we will not force grooming upon it as we feel this is very unfair on the dog.
